Kerala based techie brought technology to fingertips

Dreamt of a world where technology is brought to your fingertips? A Kerala-based young IT company has developed a ‘smart ring’ to control electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, car’s music systems, home appliances, and other gadgets, which is destined to hit the markets in July this year, amid expectations that it would outshine all other innovations in past recent years.

Fin is a tiny hardware product that you can wear on your thumb as a ring and it will make your whole palm as a gesture interface. Fin can uniquely recognize each segment of the fingers and can convert your palm into a numeric keypad. Fin is a Bluetooth enabled device that connect to three different digital gadgets such as Smartphones, Smart TVs, Automobiles and Home Automation Devices, providing multiple device compatibility. Fin reads different gestures from your palm and its corresponding values control connected devices. Fin is also the real time buddy for the visually impaired. It can help 285+ million visually impaired to interact with Technology.

Rohil Dev N, who grew up in Malappuram in Kerala has developed fin. He established RHL Vision Technologies at the startup village in Kochi, to work on touch less technologies, a project which he started during his final year of engineering.
