Ishita Katyal, youngest Indian to speak at the TED Youth Conference in New York
She loves Ruskin Bond. She is an author, a public speaker, a dancer, a singer, a player and what not!! This may sound normal, but what astonishing is her age; because she is only ten. Meet multi talented Ishita Katyal, who holds the tag of being the youngest Indian to speak at the TED Youth Conference in New York.
Ishita Katyal is in 5th standard at the Vibgyor High School in Balewadi. She delivered a speech on ‘What do you want to be now’, a topic that raised important points regarding how children can make a difference.
In 2013, Ishita visited an event organized by TEDx Pune. After the event was over, she contacted the organizers to be a part of the team. She was even given permission to organize TEDx [email protected] Ishita was only eight then and that made her the youngest person to conduct such event.
Ishita Katyal cleared two Skype interviews with Global Volunteers at TEDx and became their youngest youth organizer in the Asia-Pacific region. Wonder girl Ishita Katyal is flying high with lot many credentials already added to her name at such a young age.
