Derrick Campana from Virginia is a board certified Orthotist, who has practiced in the field for several years. After working for the human population, he found his real passion – to utilize his Prosthetic and Orthotic skills for the aid and rehabilitation of animals.

It is estimated that Derrick Campana has made 15,000 to 20,000 prosthetic devices for injured animals over the past 12 years. Even though he is not a veterinarian, Campana says his practice is a cost-effective alternative to more invasive procedures at the vet. He has given prosthetic limbs to dogs, cats, horses, donkeys and even for goats.
