Bailey Matthews – An incredible 8-year-old with cerebral palsy finished a triathlon
He fell, and then got up. He fell again, but he got up again and finished the race. That amazing boy is Bailey Matthews, an 8-year-old with cerebral palsy who ran with a walker and finished a triathlon in the United Kingdom.
The crowd as well as the announcer was cheering him up, ‘You’re going to make it to the finish line, Bailey Matthews. You’re going to make it to the finish line.’ The young determined boy didn’t give up and crossed the finish line after several falls.
Bailey has always been very determined. If he wants to do something he will find a way to do it, even if it is not the conventional way, says Bailey Matthews’s mother.
Bailey Matthews was competing in the Castle Triathlon Series, consists of five events throughout the summer in the United Kingdom and France. He competed in one of them at Castle Howard in England. The boy from Doncaster made every spectator emotional and inspired each and every one, through his positive spirit and bravery.
