To celebrate their birthdays together, dad and daughter decided to do 39 acts of kindness

acts of kindness

Last month when Lee Beck turned 32 and his daughter Amélie turned 7, together they celebrated their birthdays in a very special way. They decided to do 39 random acts of kindness, honoring their combined new ages of 32 and 7.

Lee Beck was inspired to perform acts of kindness with his daughter after seeing similar experiences on YouTube. One can watch the duo completing a full rundown of all 39 acts of kindness – from donating books to the Oxford Children’s Library to picking up trash at a local park to giving out free bubbles to children, in the video posted on YouTube. Lee also wrote a letter to one of his old professors who made a difference in his life and Amélie wrote a note to her mom to thank her for being the best mum in the world.

I thought we could make this year special by doing something together. Amélie liked the idea and helped me in brainstorming ideas. Said, Lee.

In the video, Lee even thanked his daughter for her commitment to do good deeds. The video has recieved almost 17,000 views. Dad and daughter are planning to do 41 acts of kindness for their birthdays next year.
