A large portion of India’s population has no access to quality and affordable health care. A mere 0.7 doctors exist per 1000 people in India. Kshamta is aiming to advocate healthcare equality and try to bridge this alarming gap through its flagship event, Aarogya.

Kshamta, the Social Responsibility Forum of Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, SVKM’s NMIMS, is an active platform for students to use their technical skills & expertise to make an impact on society by organizing diagnostic camps, awareness programs etc., for more than 7 years. The members of Kshamta have been reaching out to communities at large, thus playing a part in the global mission to provide effective healthcare opportunities to everyone without any discrimination.

In the past, we have organized several camps, which include providing diagnosis and raising awareness for Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Cardiovascular disorders, eye disorders, dental checkup and a variety of other issues such as AIDS, Cancer and Smoking. Our mission is to educate people, provide free health care to economically backward part of society & create an overall awareness about the preventive and curative measures of diseases.
